Karekin II urged pilgrims from Australia to meet with the people of Artsakh

On June 8, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received pilgrims from the Armenian Diocese of Australia and New Zealand at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, accompanied by the spiritual pastor of the Holy Mother of God Church in Melbourne, Rev. Father Khacher Harutyunyan. Rev. Father Khacher informed His Holiness that before arriving in Armenia, the Australian Armenians had been on pilgrimage to Western Armenia and now, being in their homeland, have visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to receive the paternal blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians. His Holiness, conveying his blessing to the Armenians, reflected with satisfaction on the patriotic and church-loving life of the Armenian community in Australia. His Holiness noted that the organization of such pilgrimages from Armenian dioceses around the world is a blessing for their brothers and sisters living in the homeland in these difficult days for the homeland. In this regard, the Armenian Patriarch urged those present, that within the framework of their visit they will also have meetings with the people of Artsakh who have been deprived of their homeland, getting to know them better and offering them their support and solidarity. In conclusion, the Catholicos of All Armenians wished the pilgrims that God would always keep and preserve them under His love and care.
