The State Duma called information about nuclear weapons in Ukraine a provocation

State Duma deputy from Crimea, member of the Security Committee Mikhail Sheremet called information about the possible creation of nuclear weapons in Ukraine a provocation.

Ukraine could create nuclear weapons for use against Russia within a few weeks, Bild claims, citing an unnamed Ukrainian official. At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky, during his visit to the European Union summit, said that the only alternative to Ukraine joining NATO could be its possession of nuclear weapons, adding that the Ukrainian side chooses the alliance.

“Information about the possible appearance of nuclear weapons in Ukraine is a provocation that cannot be left unanswered. The whole world should know that nuclear weapons in the hands of the Kyiv regime are a serious threat to the entire international community, and not just a tool for blackmailing Russia,” - Sheremet told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the Ukrainian authorities are capable of creating a dirty nuclear bomb and the collective West is obliged to prevent the outbreak of a nuclear confrontation in the world.

“The West has raised a monster in the face of the Zelensky regime in Ukraine and will be fully responsible for a possible nuclear confrontation in the world,” the deputy said.
