As a result of the solar eruption, the largest cloud of the Sunnstony of the Year is moved to the country. Levon Azizyan, director of the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center, wrote about this on the Facebook page.
"This morning, a powerful solar flare of the M8.2 was registered at 04:05 in Yerevan's time in the 4100 active period, almost in the center of the sun.
This event directly coincides with the Sygak-Country line, which ensures that the erupted material will reach our planet completely excluding the possibility of bypassing.
According to preliminary estimates, this eruption can cause a level of magnetic storms to G4. The probability of a G5 storm is estimated at about 2%.
Model data show that the Solar Plaza will reach the country already tomorrow, June 1, late in the evening.
