This is stated in a special statement by the administration of the Egyptian leader following the talks held in Cairo with the head of the Iranian foreign ministry. Al-Sisi "reaffirmed Egypt's position, which calls for not expanding the current conflict and preventing the region from sliding into a comprehensive war, which will have serious consequences for the security and future of all countries and peoples," the document says.
