The only "achievement" of the authorities is a tangible increase in crime. "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes:

The period of Pashinyan's rule is marked by total failures. In all areas. But in one area these authorities have indeed registered growth, and a tangible one at that. It is about the increase in crime. In general, the level of crime has always been a serious problem for Armenia, but under Pashinyan, it reached record levels. If we compare the number of crimes with the level during the previous three presidents, statistics show that during Pashinyan's rule, their number increased significantly, moreover, compared to the last years of Levon Ter-Petrosyan's rule and all years of Robert Kocharyan's rule, the increase in 2023 almost quadrupled. , and compared to the years of Serzh Sargsyan's rule, it doubled, compared to some years, it tripled. That is, we have never had such a level of crime in the history of newly independent Armenia. We will not present numbers here. both the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Attorney General have presented them in detail and can be found on request. The situation has reached such a point that even the leaders of the law enforcement system have to admit it, no matter how much they try to find "excuses" for it. And the real reasons for the increase in crimes are different. It is no secret that Pashinyan came to power on the basis of hatred and continued to hold office, generating enmity in the political field and among the public. As a result, all those who expressed a different point of view from the authorities immediately appeared and are the target of attacks. At first, this hatred found its expression on the social network platform in the form of complaints, curses and insults, and after some time it had its reaction in real life as well: in the form of fights, hooliganism and murders. A small incident can have tragic consequences, because there is no atmosphere of tolerance among the citizens, and people consider each other as potential enemies. And, in general, the value systems that were supposed to have unifying significance for the public, especially the national value system, are discredited. On the other hand, the current situation is affected by the fact that the preventive role of the education system is not appreciated. It is clear that the higher the level of education and legal awareness among the public, the less serious crimes will be. But these authorities and their external protégés do not need educated people with high legal awareness, first of all they need an easily manipulated mass. As for the law enforcement system, during these years Pashinyan has done everything to make it completely servile and implement only his wishes, serve only his interests. Moreover, he can call a consultation on the most trivial and unimportant issue, but we never saw it. that crime statistics and the issue of crime prevention should be in the center of his attention. Isn't it easier to take steps to prevent crimes than to make efforts to eliminate their consequences? Perhaps, for him, the main function of the law enforcement system is to persecute and oppress the opposition, rather than the fight against crimes, which has become more of a formality. And it is clear that law enforcement officers will not be encouraged in terms of crime fighting and detection, but they can receive separate rewards for using violence during demonstrations. On the other hand, we do not have systematic work of law enforcement officers, but only an imitation of work, when terrifying scenes and shows can be filmed so that people see and believe that there is a fight against crime and criminal elements.
