Lebanon sent a new complaint to the UN Security Council in connection with Israeli strikes

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a new complaint to the UN Security Council (SC) in connection with the ongoing Israeli strikes on Lebanese territory. This is stated in the statement of the department, the content of which is quoted by Al Mayadeen TV channel.
“We have filed a new complaint to the UN Security Council in connection with Israeli attacks on Lebanon,” the text says.
The Lebanese side accused the Jewish state of seeking to “impose its idea of security in the region by force and military methods.”
Previously, Beirut repeatedly appealed to the UN Security Council with complaints about Israel's actions. Thus, on October 14, the reason for the appeal was attacks by Israeli forces on the positions of peacekeepers stationed on the Lebanese-Israeli border. On September 23, Israel launched the military operation “Arrows of the North” against the formations of the Shiite organization Hezbollah in Lebanon, during which it carried out massive attacks on the military objects of movement. The stated goal is to create safe conditions in the northern border areas of the Jewish state so that tens of thousands of residents can return there. On the night of October 1, the Israeli army announced a ground operation in the border areas of southern Lebanon.
