The cancellation of the meeting of the presidents of the RA and Azerbaijan parliaments scheduled in Geneva has taken a heavy toll on the RA government. Alen Simonyan, who is participating in the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Switzerland, complained during the meeting with the General Secretary of the Union, Martin Chungong, that although he had contacts with his Azerbaijani counterpart for 3 days during the assembly held in Dushanbe on the eve of his visit to Geneva, he did not even hint about canceling the meeting. "The Armenian side learned about it only after arriving in Geneva, from the secretariat of the organization." Chungong consoled that the Azerbaijani side does not consider the window of contacts to be closed.
