Washington and Kiev may sign a framework agreement, which includes all mineral resources of Ukraine and the main energy assets this week, writes Financial Times, citing Ukrainian officials.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis SchmHigal said that Kiev and Washington have agreed that US financial assistance will not be obliged to an obligation as a debt agreement.
"The United States and Ukraine are close to the signing of a framework agreement on mineral resources this week after Kiev received a significant concession from Trump's administration that the former military assistance will not be taken into account," the publication said.
The framework agreement on which Ukraine and the United States are working on all mineral resources, including oil and gas, as well as the main energy assets in Ukraine, said Ukrainian officials.
