Today, the 5th meeting of the Armenia-EU Justice Strategic Policy Dialogue was held today led by the Minister of Justice and the head of the EU Delegation to Armenia Vasilis Maragos. Representatives of state bodies, civil society and international partners took part in the meeting. The RA Ministry of Justice informs about this.
Welcoming those present, Srbuhi Galyan stressed that the regular holding of the sitting reaffirms Armenia's commitment and efforts to deepen and expand stable and effective cooperation.
The Minister spoke about the main directions of cooperation, highlighting the Armenia-EU-EU-EU-EU-EU-EU partnership agreement, the Ministry of Liberalization of Armenia and the EU, the annual sessions of the RA-EU Justice, Freedom and Security Subcommittee, as well as various program cooperation formats.
Speaking at an opening speech, the head of the EU Delegation Vasilis Maragos pointed out the progress that Armenia registered within the framework of judicial and anti-corruption strategies, as well as referred to the observations of the mission to Armenia within the framework of visa liberalization dialogue.
After the opening speeches, Deputy Minister Anna Karapetyan presented the progress made in the fields of judicial and anti-corruption reforms, as well as "Support to the reforms in the field of justice in Armenia. Details of the actions taken within the framework of the Budget Support Agreement.
The meeting took place in the format of the issue and answers, during which the Minister of Justice and the Deputies responded to the questions of non-governmental organizations and international partners.
At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of deepening Armenia-EU cooperation, emphasizing that effective effective programs will continue and find their place in the upcoming reform agenda.
