Iran and the United States can agree on Saturday during indirect consultations on the format of future talks. Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali stated this in an interview with Rosia-24 TV channel.
The Ambassador clarified that he had no detailed information about these talks between Tehran and Washington. "But I can say that this will be the first meeting. I think that Iran and the United States will first agree on future talks, and then they will put themselves goals, "Jalali said.
According to him, the talks are possible if the opposite side is honest in its positions.
"Sometimes it happens that the United States is writing the outcome of the talks and says, you must sign this document. Of course, in such conditions, we do not consider them negotiations. Before reaching an agreement, you have to deal with both parties, "the diplomat explained the position of the Iranian side.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that a meeting between Washington and Tehran on Saturday would take place in "almost high level".
