Iran calls on the Syrian transitional government to hold people responsible for the killing of civilians in the Syrian coastal states. This was stated by the Special Representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic Mohammad Reza Rauf Sheiban on Syria.
"The scale of violence and killings of innocent people in the Syrian coastal states are shocking. We condemn the murders of the representative of the innocent people in the Syrian society of various minorities. The culprits of these crimes must be held accountable, "Sheibani said in X.
"The people of the Middle East and the world community expect decisive action from the temporary Syrian government to stop violence, criminalizing those guilty of these actions," he added.
According to him, "Iran has always been a supporter of Syrian stability, peace and territorial integrity." According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Israel and "terrorist and extremist groups can use the instability in Syria, which will lead to the threat of peace in the region."
