The curfet at 09.00 at Saturday was extended by a curfew in Latakia, Syria, Syria TV reported.
Thursday, heavy battles have begun among the Syrian security forces and the newly opposed groups in Damascus, Jobla, in several regions of Latakia and in mountain regions of Tartus.
At night on Friday night, additional units of the Army and Interior have arrived in Tartus and Latakia, and the army has used combat helicopters. The local authorities have set a curfew in the background of the aggravation.
"The administration of the State of Latakia has announced the extension of the curfew in the city until 09.00 in the morning," the statement said.
According to Al Jazeera, the Syrian Defense Ministry's forces arrived in the suburbs of Jebla, Latakia and fought former chairman Bashar al-Assad.
In late November 2024, the Syrian opposition's armed attacks began against the positions of the Syrian army and entered Damascus on December 8, Assad resigned from the post of Syrian president and left the country.
