In Brazil, the bus fell into the gorge, 25 people were injured, and a 13-year-old teenager died, CNN Brasil reported, citing local firefighters and police.
According to the TV channel, the incident took place in the early morning of March 6. The bus carrying 45 passengers fell from the cliff. The car went from Rio de Janeiro to Sao Paulo.
"As a result of the accident with the bus, 25 people were injured in Sao Paulo, the law enforcement agencies said that a 13-year-old teenager died in hospital," the channel reported.
CNN Brasil adds that five of the wounded are in critical condition. According to the TV channel, the accident could take place because one of the wheels of the bus was placed on the border separating the boundary of the road from the driving maneuver. As a result, the bus lost the balance and appeared in the gorge.
