I introduced myself as a member of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, a lawyer who once had the status of Robert Kocharyan's defense attorney. This was announced by lawyer Aram Vardevanyan at the court session in the reopened case on March 1.
"I also received a corresponding notice from Mrs. Lena Julhakyan. Of course, it is mentioned there that I am a defense attorney, I don't know where I assumed that status according to the judge's assistant, but considering that you just recorded a connecting circumstance, I couldn't not touch on that audacity," he said.
It should be noted that 3 years after the acquittal in the Anti-Corruption Court, the criminal case against the 2nd President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, the former CSTO Secretary Yuri Khachaturov, the former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Grigoryan and the former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan was reopened and is being examined. The Court of Cassation overruled Judge Anna Danibekyan's decision to terminate the case of Robert Kocharyan, Yuri Khachaturov, Seyran Ohanyan and Armen Gevorgyan.
