Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Baiba Braze has joined the ranks of volunteers of the armed forces of the republic.
"A special day. Replenishment of the 13th infantry battalion (Latvian volunteer militia) of Zemessardze, the oath is given," he wrote on X social network.
In the photo published next to the text, the head of the foreign policy department of the republic is standing in a military uniform, surrounded by seven women in the same clothes. He is the first from the right in the photo.
The volunteer militia of Latvia helps protect the territory of the country, eliminate the consequences of emergency situations, carry out rescue operations and ensure public safety.
