A little while ago, Robert Kocharyan appeared at the court session in the case reopened on March 1. "It was heard that I was notified as an accused. I ask to clarify why I am accused in this criminal case," said the 2nd President of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.
Aram Orbelyan, a member of Robert Kocharyan's legal team, also stated that their presence in this case is pointless. "We were informed wrongly, I cannot be a defense attorney in this case, Robert Kocharyan cannot be present as an accused," said the lawyer. To the judge's observation, why did they appear in court in that case, the lawyer replied:
"We received a letter from the court, we presented ourselves respectfully to the court," emphasized Orbelyan.
