The "Fact" daily writes:
At the present stage, a race for weapons around the world has begun, states increase their military spending.
Even in Europe, military budgets are even sharp, given that the United States does not intend to take the burden of ensuring the security of its NATO partners on its shoulders.
And a key section of large-scale military spending is given to acquisition of weapons. But major European countries intend to create a large military-industrial complex.
The importance of the military-industrial base is that the defense system should not only depend on the acquisition or supply of weapons, but it is necessary to create one's own. During the supply of time, even in some directions, even problems may arise, which is currently difficult to predict.
As, by the way, it was in Armenia's case when we bought weapons from Russia, but at least we could not receive it, and Russia, in turn, could not make it on time with the war in Ukraine. The Russian side even delays supplies to India, for which the Indian side has paid in advance.
And if Armenia becomes a victim of aggression again and the supplies may not have a very painful consequences, no matter how much we accuse the Supplier, because the priority for every country is its interests.
On the other hand, the problem with the transfer of weapons may arise, such as a weapon from India, but could not deliver it to Armenia, as obstacles were caused by transit paths.
At the same time, Azerbaijan gains beaders of billions of dollars from different countries, openly showing that it is going to be another aggression.
But if the events are careful, it is possible to notice that Azerbaijan is not emphasized only on the acquisition of weapons. During various agreements and cooperation within the framework of the cooperation formats, Baku advances to organize joint production and develop its own military industry.
As a result, there will be weapons of origin of different countries in Azerbaijan: Pakistanyan, Turkish, Israeli, etc. There are also programs involving several parties at once.
For example, Turkey and Azerbaijan are included in the Turkish KAAN fighter project.
And Armenia has always been discussed in Armenia, but no significant program has been implemented, moreover, India has become one of the most important areas of military products, and American, Russian, French and German parties invest in India.
And that country is very positive about Armenia, and will definitely agree on joint production programs.
But there is no initiative by Armenia, no high-level intensive meetings.
Recently, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Baku, within the framework of which the cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere was also highlighted.
Armenia's relations with France are quite warm, high-level meetings take place, statements supporting Armenia from Paris, but there are no substantive initiatives.
Meanwhile, it was possible to invite French weapons to Armenia and raise the production of joint weapons. It can be done within the framework of cooperation with other partner countries.
It is just necessary for Armenia to have a military-industrial base that if there are problems with the supply of weapons in the conditions of changing the situation, it will be based on its internal potential.
In addition, it is very difficult to create military technologies from scratch, as it requires work and great investments, so you can take the technology of others at once.
For example, in Turkey, Bayrakar drones have been created so, at the expense of technologies brought from different countries, and some time later, Turkish components are being created.
Armenia has a problem of embezzling military technologies and putting it within its use within its own products, and it needs serious cooperation with its partners.
