We are ready for any scenario, although we don't want any backlash. Aragchi

The Iranian authorities are ready for any scenario of the development of the conflict in the Middle East, including Israel's actions. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araghchi.

"We are ready for any scenario, at the same time we do not seek war or escalation," Araghchi said in an interview with Al Jazeera. "The Israelis can check our will," he added. According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Israel seeks to expand the geography of the conflict in the region and tries to involve Tehran in an open confrontation. "First, we will see what the Israeli attack will be, and based on that we will decide the nature of our response," Araghchi said.

Earlier, Reuters, citing an Iranian official, reported that Tehran warned the Persian Gulf countries against providing military aid or airspace to Israel if it decides to respond to Iran's missile strike.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, Iran made such a warning on October 3 during the visit of the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Qatar.
