Georgian Prime Minister rules out “revolutionary processes” in the country

The Georgian opposition does not have the strength to create “revolutionary processes” in the country. This was stated by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, Sputnik.Georgia reports. “No matter how much the opposition tries to initiate revolutionary processes, storm the parliament building, etc., it will not achieve anything,” the prime minister emphasized.

According to Kobakhidze, Georgia continues to intend to defend its national interests. At the end of September, the founder and honorary chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party, Bidzina Ivanishvili, said that hostile external forces and the opposition are seeking to “wipe Georgia off the map.”

According to him, forces “hostile” to Georgia with the help of “local agents” intend to erase the country from the map. In this case, the 2008 conflict “will seem like a trifle,” the politician said. Earlier, Georgia responded to the European Parliament’s call to impose direct sanctions against the Russian Federation.
