The Netherlands has already participated in the training of about 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers. The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans, announced this on the social network after his visit to the training center in Germany.
"The training of Ukrainians is still necessary," he noted."About 20,000 soldiers have already been trained in Germany within the framework of the EU training mission."
Due to security reasons, the exact location has not been revealed. Dutch instructors with experience in operating Leopard tanks also participate in the course.
Continuing the theme in De Telegraaf newspaper, Brekelmans emphasized,that the possible ceasefire will not affect the preparation process.
