French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Washington next week for talks with American President Donald Trump. Benjamin Adad, Minister-Envoy for European Affairs of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced this on LCI TV channel.
"Macron will meet with Trump early next week to deliver to Europeposition on Ukraine, as well as to emphasize that the future of Ukraine should not be decided without his participation," said Adad.
According to him, EU countries have several levers to exert economic pressure on Russia.
Europe, as the French minister claimed, can also provide security guarantees.
