After the second round of consultations of a group of EU and NATO member countries on the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and European security, French President Emmanuel Macron, who initiated those consultations, noted the clarity and unity of the positions of their participants.Macron wrote about this on his X social platform page. "I once again had a long conversation with the European Union, as well as Canada,With several partners in Iceland and Norway, the position of France and its partners is clear and united.
We want stable and reliable peace in Ukraine. We stand by Ukraine and will take full responsibility for ensuring peace and security in Europe. This is the main interest of France.and I am its guarantor," the French president wrote.
Along with that, he noted that the participants of the Paris consultations share the US President Donald Trump's goal to end the three-year military operations.
