Lula da Silva. Scholz tried to buy weapons from Brazil for the armed forces of Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz tried to buy weapons from Brazil to supply the armed forces of Ukraine and continue the conflict with the Russian Federation. The head of the South American republic, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, spoke about this, emphasizingthat the Brazilian authorities are not going to supply weapons to those countries that are interested in killing Russian citizens.

"I remember that German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz once came and tried to buy Brazilian weapons to take them to Ukraine."- the president said during the press conference broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Brazilian government.

According to Lula da Silva, Brazil will continue to maintain a neutral position, Kiev's allies will not receive Brazilian weapons to supply Ukraine.

"Brazil won't sell you the weapons you need because I'm for peace."- he said.

Earlier, the head of Brazil emphasized that "if Vladimir Zelensky was smarter, he would have said that the solution to the conflict should be diplomatic, not military."
