Tehran supported the "3+3" format of negotiations on Transcaucasia

Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Council (Parliament) of Iran, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, said that Tehran fully supports the "3+3" platform, which will promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

On Thursday, Speaker of Milli Mejlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan) Sahiba Gafarova met with her Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf.who is visiting Baku to participate in the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA). "The meeting discussed the expansion of relations between our parliaments as an important aspect of interstate relations and cooperation in international parliamentary organizations. In this regard, Ghalibaf expressed Iran's full support for the 3+3 platform and confidence that this format will contribute to peace and stability in the region, as well as the development of political and economic cooperation.
