On February 19, the delegation led by the RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan in Italy on a working visit was to meet with members of the Italy-Armenia Friendship Group.
Highly appreciating the role of friendship groups in both parliaments in the development of bilateral friendly relations, Alen Simonyan expressed hope that as a result of the target work, the Armenian-Italian relations will reach a new level of development.
In their turn, the Italian deputies thanked the RA NA Speaker for the efforts to strengthen the work of the parliaments of the two countries and stressed that they will continue to support the process of democratic reforms in Armenia.
The discussions also discussed regional developments, other issues related to the repatriation of Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan and bilateral interest.
