Ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan in November 2024, actions have been launched in different countries of the world demanding the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war and hostages illegally held in Azerbaijan.
Responding to these actions, on October 11 of this year, at 11:00, we plan to carry out actions in front of the UN Office in Armenia, the RA Foreign Ministry, the embassies of the Russian Federation, the French Republic, and the United States of America in RA, during which the same demand letters will be forwarded to the recipients.
The initiative was joined by retired human rights defenders Yuri Hayrapetyan, Ruben Melikyan, Artak Beglaryan, as well as retired RA human rights defenders Arman Tatoyan and Larisa Alaverdyan. The launch was from the UN office in Armenia.
