The country must protect its borders, but that does not mean that it cannot cooperate with other countries and organizations. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a January 31 meeting with journalists.
"We are already serving the Armenian border with Iran and Turkey, and we are serving ourselves at Zvartnots Airport. The border point with Iran is 100% under the control of the Armenian border guards.
This process will continue, "he said.
Pashinyan called it the problem of the will of the two countries, and as long as there is a will to cooperate, Armenia will cooperate.
"If something changes, this will change.
At the moment, we are working together, and I do not rule out that the scope of this joint service will be expanded, "he concluded.
