A solemn reception dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the RA Armed Forces, high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Armed Forces, members of the National Assembly, members of the National Assembly, mayors, mayors took place in Paris on January 29. In his speech to the participants, RA Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan, congratulated the 33rd anniversary of the RA Armed Forces that the Armenian Army embodies the determination of our people and the right to exist as an independent and democratic country. He stressed that since the first moment of the formation, the RA Armed Forces were crucial in the preservation of Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He noted that Armenia is determined to establish peace and stability in the region, making constructive efforts in the current negotiations.
At the same time, Ambassador Khachatryan stressed the importance of strengthening Armenia's defense capabilities and expressed his gratitude to the friendly French authorities in this context to support Armenia and continuously expanding defense cooperation.
Referring to the Armenian-French friendly relations, the ambassador of the two countries is currently reminiscent of the heroic episodes of the close army of the two peoples during the first and World War II, including the participation of Armenian fighters in France resistance movement.
During the evening, the military attaché of Armenia in France, Colonel Gevorg Ghonyan also made a speech.
Mentioning Armenia's security threats, Colonel Gonyan stressed the importance of French support for strengthening Armenia's defense capabilities.
He stressed that the Armenian army has been and continues to be the guarantor of the sale of the legitimate right of the Republic of Armenia to protect its sovereign territory.
Under the admission, the students of the "Schoolaus" Armenian College, led by the director of the National Assembly, made the anthems of the Armenian and French National Forces.
