Estonia is interested in expanding the purchases of South Korean artillery

Estonia plans to expand the purchases of South Korean artillery, including remote artillery purchases, RIA Novosti reported on the statement made by Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur after a visit to South Korea.

"We are interested in additional purchases of K9 self-propelled HAubits and other artillery systems. We consider not only K9, but also other weapons systems. It is one of the goals of my visit to South Korea. At the same time, we pay special attention to the "large depth of fire", "the Estonian minister said, according to the Russian media.

Hanno Pevkur added that Estonia's decision to buy South Korean korean self-propelled artillery units is partly due to the fact that such self-propelled artillery systems have already bought Poland, Finland and other countries. According to him, the annual growth of Estonia's defense expenses is necessary to curb Russia.
