Qatar and Turkey ready to mediate between Israel and Hezbollah, source says

Qatar and Turkey have announced their readiness to mediate between Israel and the Shiite Hezbollah movement in order to stop the bombing of Lebanon by the Jewish state, a Lebanese diplomatic source in Cairo informed, reports the Spanish EFE news agency.According to the source, the Lebanese government has received several American and European messages, according to which Israel will not back down, and the only solution is for Hezbollah to make concessions, as any refusal will only provoke new attacks and escalation of tension. Also, it is clarified that Israel wants to create a 10-kilometer buffer zone in southern Lebanon.Qatar and Turkey have proposed to act as mediators and establish direct contact with Hezbollah, added the source of the aforesaid news agency, and noted that a delegation from the two countries will arrive in the Lebanese capital Beirut in the next few hours.
