A ghost database containing millions of records of Georgia citizens appeared in the cloud and then mysteriously disappeared. The leaked information potentially leaves sensitive personal data vulnerable to attackers, the Cyber News website writes.
Cyber security researcher and owner of SecurityDiscovery.com, and the research team Cyber on the server. The data contained a wide range of sensitive personal data concerning the citizens of the Republic of Georgia.
One of the indexes found included records of nearly five million people's personal data, while another contained more than seven million phone calls with personal information related to Georgia's population of nearly four million people.
The data could include duplicate records and records of deceased people. Sensitive personal data included identification numbers, full names, dates of birth, gender and numbers similar to certificates (possibly insurance).
