Israel has accepted defeat and capitulated to the radical Palestinian Hamas movement by agreeing to a cease-fire agreement in the Gaza Strip, said the Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri.
"The Zionists admitted that they had no choice but to surrender and agree to a cease-fire, the Axis of Resistance steadfastly faced this test and imposed a cease-fire on the enemy," Bagheri was quoted as saying by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Iran.
The core of the pro-Iranian Resistance includes the Palestinian radical groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance Militia, and the Yemeni Houthi rebel movement Ansar Allah.
