"Hraparak" newspaper writes:
"In Nikol Pashinyan's government, they are guided by the principle that the citizen is a material fine and try to get into everyone's pocket by all possible and improbable methods.
And now, the government has sent a project to the parliament, by which it wants to force, by law, that in trade facilities, in all kinds of stores, departments should be separated for pure and dairy products made on the basis of substitutes, the shelves intended for pure dairy products should be green, and for substitutes, orange.
The rationale is for the consumer to make a clear distinction and know what product he is consuming. Of course, it is a good initiative, arising from the interests of the consumer, but even the CP is puzzled: why do they put this burden on the owners of trade facilities, so that they have the opportunity to fine them? then make sure that customers don't suddenly put one product on another shelf, so that they don't get targeted by inspection bodies and get fined.
Instead, they could compel dairy producers to mark the product accordingly for the customer and put a distinguishing mark and that's it."
