American-Armenian rock musician, songwriter, political activist Serzh Tankyan announced on his Instagram page that he was evacuated due to the raging fires in California.
"We have been evacuated with all our friends and neighbors.
We are fine, fortunately, but many people have lost their homes.
Some are still on hold. Our firefighters and all those who supported them are heroes.
This should not have happened.
This is because of the climate crisis, which was exacerbated by incompetence," he wrote.
