A commission will be established in the Georgian parliament to investigate the crimes of Saakashvili's regime

During the spring session, the Parliament of Georgia will create a special commission that will investigate systematic crimes committed by the country's government in 2003-2012, when Mikheil Saakashvili was in power.

Mamuka Mdinaradze, executive secretary of the ruling "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" party, leader of the parliamentary majority, announced this in a briefing.

"In order to investigate these systemic crimes and evaluate the Saakashvili regime, a temporary investigative commission will be established during the first week of the spring session of the Georgian Parliament to investigate the regime operating in 2003-2012 and the arrested persons," said Mdinaradze.
