A demonstration was held near the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada buildings in Kyiv, with the demand to ensure the process of demobilization of military personnel, the participants demand to set clear terms of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports the Ukrainian TV channel "Public".
"On January 8, 2025, in Kyiv, relatives and friends of military personnel once again organized a picket to set clear terms of service in the army, gathered near the building of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the Verkhovna Rada," said the message published on the TV channel's website.
Picketers held placards in their hands: "I hope that at least in 2025 you will remember that slavery was abolished in 1865", "Why do soldiers have only duties instead of rights?"
"This is a one-way ticket, people are just physically and mentally exhausted and just can't cope, which is why there is a large amount of unauthorized abandonment of details," the TV channel quoted Yulia rally participants as saying.
