As a result of the cooperation between the Armenian Boxing Federation and IBA, the International Boxing Federation, on January 17, the "Champions Night-IBA" professional boxing evening will take place for the second time in the sports concert complex named after Karen Demirchyan, during which Armenian boxers will also enter the ring.
Davit Chaloyan, a participant of the Olympic Games, will compete with Cuban Lenier Pero in the 1/4 finals of the IBA "Strongest Selection" of the super heavyweight category. Narek Manasyan, Artur Bazeyan, Ararat Harutyunyan, Gurgen Madoyan and Karen Tonakanyan will also hold professional fights.
In the main fight of the evening, the WBA Asia championship belt will also be played, during which Pavel Sosulin representing Russia and Carlo Bacaro from the Philippines will compete.
