According to the message, the medals will be awarded to chef Jose Andres, singer Bono, Clinton, actor Michael J., football player Messi and Soros.
However, entrepreneur Elon Musk did not like the inclusion of the billionaire and the founder of the Open Society Foundation in the list.
"Biden awarding Soros with the Medal of Freedom is a mockery," Musk commented on his social network page.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom is one of the highest civilian honors of the United States, awarded annually for contributions to the advancement of the national interest in various fields, including culture and sports.
