The identity of 10 of the 38 people who died in the accident of the Azerbaijani Airlines plane in Kazakhstan has been revealed, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
"Out of the 38 victims, 10 people have been identified: 3 are citizens of Kazakhstan, 3 are citizens of Russia, and 4 are citizens of Azerbaijan. The work to find out the identity of the rest is ongoing," the message says.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 20 of the 29 victims of the plane crash are still in medical facilities. As a result of the crash of the plane flying from Baku to Grozny, 38 out of 67 people died.
Before the accident, the crew requested an emergency landing.
