Ara Mkrtchyan was appointed honorary consul of Jordan in Armenia


Ara Mkrtchyan was appointed the honorary consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Republic of Armenia. The honorary consulate is located in Yerevan, at 1 Northern Avenue.

"It is a great honor for me to assume the mission of the honorary consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the Republic of Armenia.

Our goal, based on the friendly relations between Armenia and Jordan, is to create stronger ties between the two states, to promote business contacts, trade and investments, scientific and educational ties, and to develop the potential of tourism.

I emphasize the development of relations between the two countries, the deepening of cooperation in various fields and the implementation of joint projects. The honorary consulate will serve as a platform for strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two countries, supporting businessmen, investors, tourists, students," said Jordan's honorary consul in Armenia Ara Mkrtchyan.

Ara Mkrtchyan was born in 1981 in Yerevan, graduated from YSU Faculty of International Relations, served in the RA Armed Forces.

Ara Mkrtchyan has more than 20 years of business experience, specializes in the management of construction, energy, multi-functional enterprises.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were established in 1996. During these years, a number of bilateral agreements related to various fields were signed between Armenia and Jordan, official visits of the leaders of the two countries took place.
