The overall economic growth of the South Caucasus was 6.9 percent, reports the Gnomon wise research institute.
According to the report, in the first half of 2024, the economy of the Caucasus grew by 6.9%, and the lowest contribution was made by Armenia.
In the first half of the current year, trade grew by 8.9%, 14% of GDP;
hospitality sector grew by 14.3%, its share is 3.5% of GDP
the share of the transport sector was 9.8%, an increase of 11% in the first half
the share of the information and communication sector in the GDP was 7.2% with an increase of 16.2%.
