Iran warns of a possible return of terrorism to Syria amid the chaos in the country, which could pose a threat to the entire Middle East region, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday.

The President of Iran and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country Masoud Pezeshkian and Abbas Araghchi are participating in the summit of the Islamic Eight (International Organization for the Development of Cooperation of Muslim States) in Egypt.

The president of Iran is visiting Egypt for the second time after the establishment of this Islamic republic. According to the Iranian SNN agency, the last time the president visited Iran was 11 years ago, then Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Egypt.
