Sweden has not ruled out sending peacekeepers to Ukraine

The Swedish government does not rule out sending peacekeepers from the kingdom to Ukraine after the start of peace negotiations. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristerson announced this upon his arrival at the EU summit in Brussels.

"The discussion about peace negotiations and sending peacekeepers has been going on for a long time," he said.

The Prime Minister of Sweden emphasized that the peace negotiations should take place on Ukraine's terms, and that for this it is necessary to strengthen the positions of Kyiv.

Christerson also reported that the issue of negotiations and sending peacekeepers was discussed at the meeting of the Nordic and Baltic countries in Harpsund, Sweden, which was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron.
