Zurabishvili said that he does not want to become the new Tikhanovskaya

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said that after the end of her presidential term, she does not want to be an exiled politician, recognized by individual states, like Belarusian oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.

"There is no question of leaving Georgia, I am there and I don't want to. I see hints that I will become Tikhanovskaya or the President of Venezuela who has left the country.

And I also heard about the awarding of the Sakharov Prize (to Venezuelan oppositionists). I don't want that," Zurabishvili said in an interview with the Polish TVP World channel, answering the question about his future.

"What's the point of support when everything is over? I need support now, in my country, from my people," he added.
