The Council of the European Union at the level of European foreign ministers finally approved the 15th package of sanctions against Russia, which will include new economic and personal restrictions, Ria Novosti reports.
The new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation included, in particular, restrictions on the so-called "shadow fleet" involved in the transportation of energy resources, as well as a list of personal restrictions on 54 individuals and 30 organizations.
Earlier, the new package of sanctions was approved by the permanent representatives of the EU countries. Its detailed content will become known after the official publication. At that time, the sanctions will come into force.
