The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced the evacuation of some staff members of the Russian foreign missions in Damascus.
The message of the Russian Foreign Ministry states that on December 15, a special flight of the Russian Aerospace Forces evacuated a part of the staff of the Russian foreign missions in Damascus from the Khmeimim air base to Moscow's Chkalovsky airport.
The employees of the diplomatic missions of Belarus and the DRC were also evacuated. "The work of the Russian embassy in Damascus continues," the source says.
