Russia became the president of the UN Security Council for one month from July 1. The main topics of discussion will be the Middle East settlement, the new global "security formula", as well as the cooperation of the United Nations with the regional organizations, the CSTO, the CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This was reported by RIA Novosti. During the presidency, the Russian Federation planned to hold three main events.
