Russia became the president of the UN Security Council for one month from July 1. The main topics of discussion will be the Middle East settlement, the new global "security formula", as well as the cooperation of the United Nations with the regional organizations, the CSTO, the CIS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. This was reported by RIA Novosti. During the presidency, the Russian Federation planned to hold three main events. One of them is the discussions on multilateral cooperation for the purpose of building a fairer and more stable world order, which should take place on July 16. On July 17, open discussions on the Middle East settlement issue are planned, and on July 19, Security Council discussions on the cooperation of the United Nations with the CSTO, CIS and SCO.
