The Bangladesh court banned the publication of Sheikh Hasina's speeches

The International Criminal Tribunal for Bangladesh has ordered the country's authorities to ban the spread of "hate speech" by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in local media and social networks.

"He incites hatred against the Bangladeshi authorities in his speeches, which may intimidate witnesses to Sheikh Hasina's crimes and hinder their investigation," the tribunal said.

According to Bangladesh's Sangbad Sangstha news agency, the tribunal ordered the information ministry not to publish further speeches by Sheikh Hasina in all media outlets in Bangladesh and to take steps to remove those already published.

During an online conference of her Awami League party in India on December 3, Sheikh Hasina said she was forced to leave Bangladesh because of an assassination attempt by anti-government protesters.
