Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Hungarian Foreign Minister Pyotr Szijártó within the framework of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers session.

The meeting was held in a closed format.

This is the second meeting between Lavrov and Sijarto in the last week. The ministers last held negotiations on December 2 in Moscow.

Szijjártó said that he arrived in the Russian Federation within the framework of the Hungarian peace initiative in Ukraine.
