Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Anton Kobyakov, head of the interdepartmental working group for the preparation and holding of the Congress of Young Scientists and satellite events, said that the BRICS countries should think about creating an alternative to the Nobel Prize. His words are quoted by TASS.
He admitted that such an alternative can be built on the basis of non-state forms of cooperation.
"It is necessary to continue to develop our own scientific citation standards and databases. The BRICS format is perfect for this. Let there be more alternatives," the official emphasized.
